GUIDELINES:

KEEP YOUR MEETUP PROFILE CURRENT:

You must provide a current profile photo and at least first name at all times. It goes without saying we need to match your photo to your RSVP in order to monitor event attendance, get to know you, and introduce you to the group.

ATTEND AT YOUR OWN RISK:

The organizers of this event are unpaid volunteers. By signing up for events, you agree to assume all responsibility for your own preparedness, safety, health consequences, conduct, and well-being.

RSVP/ NO SHOW POLICIES:

RSVP:

Please be respectful and update your RSVP to "Not Going" as early as possible within the days leading up the event. Some of our events are scheduled as early as 2-4 weeks in advance of the event and it's understood that things come up /life changes. You must update your RSVP to "Not Going" a minimum of 24 hours in advance of an event, especially an event with a Wait List. This allows members on the Waitlist to attend if they are moved from the Wait List to "Going". You will receive a notification (s) in the Event Comments within 24-48 hours reminding you to update your RSVP if you are not able to attend. You can remove yourself from being listed as "Going" by clicking on EDIT RSVP and change it to "NO". IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR RSVP, DIRECT MESSAGE THE EVENT ORGANIZER.

NO SHOWS:

No Shows are disrespectful and they prevent members on a wait list from having the opportunity to attend an event. The Meetup Organizer actively monitors each member's number of "No Shows" within the Member Profile. In instances where a member is a frequent "No Show", the Meetup Organizer reserves the right to address the issue on a case by case basis. The Meetup Organizer reserves the right to suspend a member who is has been a "No Show" at 3 or more events. Naturally, there are situations when there are good reasons to not be able to show up.

SAFETY GUIDELINES:

If road or trail conditions are not safe, events may be canceled, postponed, or rescheduled. Please make it a practice to review events updates/comments/announcements posted by the organizer prior to the event.

Van Henion Brewing Company, 63067 Plateau Dr, Bend, OR, US

This will be our first Meetup at Van Henion!🍻 They are a small, super chill, laid-back, NO FRILLS, neighborhood brewery and tasting room. They specialize in German 🇩🇪 style beers.🍻 Prost!

The Brewery

“Van Henion Brewing operates a completely manual 50 Barrel, 5 vessel brewhouse with a steam fired kettle. The cellar comprises various 60, 120, 180 and 200 barrel fermentation tanks. The outsized cellar has the capacity to put out 30,000 barrels a year, but currently operates at a fraction of that output. The extra tank space allows for plenty of lagering time. All Van Henion lagers spend at minimum 8 weeks in tank before packaging. All beers are packaged on site with an inline Twin Monkey canning line. Van Henion also has a fully equipped lab to ensure quality and proper yeast management.”

Other than beer, they serve fantastic cider from Bend Cider Company and two sparkling wines from Stoller Vineyards. Non Alcoholic beverages are also available. Boneyard's ULTRA POP sodas in three flavors, Down Shift THC sparkling water, and Bitburger Drive N/A.

Two fantastic food trucks!!
