GUIDELINES:
KEEP YOUR MEETUP PROFILE CURRENT:
You must provide a current profile photo and at least first name at all times. It goes without saying we need to match your photo to your RSVP in order to monitor event attendance, get to know you, and introduce you to the group.
ATTEND AT YOUR OWN RISK:
The organizers of this event are unpaid volunteers. By signing up for events, you agree to assume all responsibility for your own preparedness, safety, health consequences, conduct, and well-being.
RSVP/ NO SHOW POLICIES:
RSVP:
Please be respectful and update your RSVP to "Not Going" as early as possible within the days leading up the event. Some of our events are scheduled as early as 2-3 weeks in advance of the event and it's understood that things come up /life changes. You must update your RSVP to "Not Going" a minimum of 24 hours in advance of an event, especially an event with a Wait List. This allows members on the Waitlist to attend if they are moved from the Wait List to "Going". You will receive a notification (s) in the Event Chat within 24-48 hours reminding you to update your RSVP if you are not able to attend. You can remove yourself from being listed as "Going" by clicking on EDIT RSVP and change it to "NO". IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR RSVP, DIRECT MESSAGE THE EVENT ORGANIZER.
NO SHOWS:
No Shows are disrespectful. The Meetup Organizer actively monitors each member's number of "No Shows" within the member's Member Profile. In instances where a member is a frequent "No Show", the Meetup Organizer reserves the right to address the issue on a case by case basis. The Meetup Organizer reserves the right to suspend a member who is a chronic "No Show". In future, if "No Shows" become a widespread group problem, a blanket policy will be put in place. Please do not sign up for every event as soon as it is posted, especially if you frequently do this and your intention is to wait and see if another event presents itself which you'd rather attend.
SAFETY GUIDELINES:
If road or trail conditions are not safe, events may be canceled, postponed, or rescheduled.
