Experience our Humanistic Rosh Hashanah and Tashlich

Details
Enjoy our humanistic Rosh Hashanah/Tashlich experience in person next to the lovely Viele Lake in south Boulder at the Harlow Platts Picnic Shelter. All ages welcome!
Greet the Jewish New Year - 5784 - in a culturally relevant way, honoring our traditions and creating meaning for today. Transform the practice of Tashlich or “casting off sins” into a welcome embrace of our individual and community wishes and plans for the coming year. Turn into quiet contemplation, walk around the lake, or a visit to the nearby playground.
We’ll sound the shofar, enjoy familiar songs and find gratitude in Jewish community.
We are requesting a $20 per adult donation to Beth Ami payable at the event in cash or check. Greater or smaller donations are equally appreciated. Please also consider bringing a donation of non-perishable food which will be delivered to Community Food Share.

Beth Ami, the only Humanistic Jewish congregation in Colorado, is a proud affiliate of the Society for Humanistic Judaism. We celebrate Jewish holidays, learning and life cycle events through the secular lens of history, culture, and reason. We believe in the human capacity to create a better world without supernatural intervention.
Beth Ami is a welcoming community where we connect to Jewish past, celebrate Jewish present and link to Jewish future through a humanistic philosophy. We encourage anyone interested in learning about Humanistic Judaism to attend this and all our events.
Let's do Jewish together - Humanistically!
