Biblical Christian Singles of SoCal

Each Friday we meet from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm discussing the Talk It Over notes from the previous week’s service or other topics related to Saddleback Church over Zoom.

Please note that you will need an authenticated Zoom account, and please set your name to your actual name, ideally appending the city you’re in—we have members from around the country and the world, so it helps to identify our neighbors. If you don’t include your real name, you may not be permitted entry.

Our small group time is meant to be a time of honest discussion about the topic for the evening, and we want everyone to have a chance to share, so please be ready to answer each question succinctly, and stay on the topic so there’s no need to interrupt anyone.

WHAT TO EXPECT
After introducing any newcomers, we will begin the Bible study, finishing up around 8:30 pm. Please be respectful of others’ time and join on time so we can finish on time, and if anyone is up for it, we will chat afterwards. It helps to keep your video on for visual cues to know if you’re ready to share, but first timers can just hang back and soak it in.

If you don’t have time to go over everything, that’s fine; often the discussion questions work well on their own, but sometimes they will require quite a bit of introspection—HOMEWORK, as I like to say! If you love to share a lot, please allow others time to share as well. If you’re one who doesn’t share that much, please feel free to jump in; we’d love to hear your thoughts.

Please understand that this isn’t a dating group, and we do welcome those who are in various stages of a relationship, especially couples.

We are having a ENORMOUSLY FUN TIME on Friday Nights at O.C. Singles and Couples for Christ. We invite YOU to come and have fun with 150 Single Adults and Couples (of all ages) this coming Friday Night, Sept. 25th, 2026! You're invited to our fun 😁 ANNUAL SINGLES PARK DAY 😁 on Saturday, October 3 from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM at Irvine Regional Park with Christian singles and single-parent families. Invite your friends!

Come enjoy a relaxing day at this beautiful park – with food, fun, fellowship, fresh air, and group activities with friendly people. Rain cancels this event.

We’ll be serving BBQ HOT DOGS & HAMBURGERS with all the fixings starting at 11:30 AM–12:00 PM while supplies last. A $6 cash donation appreciated to help cover food costs, plates, utensils, and napkins.

👋 We recommend coming early if you can to avoid lines at the gate. Consider carpooling. Gate opens at 6:00 AM – $5 gate fee.

WHAT TO BRING
• Bring individually wrapped snacks or food items for the snack table to share.

• Bring a folding chair or blanket to sit on, your favorite non-alcoholic drink, and an ice chest if needed. If you’re able, bring extra water bottles to share with others.

• Bring your bike to ride in the park and on the trails. You can also park outside the park and ride your bike in at no charge.

HOW TO FIND US
📍 We will be in the grassy area near Parking Lot “K.” Lots “L” and “J” are nearby if K is full. Look for the Single+Passion sign and EZ-Ups. Park map in photos.

FUN GROUP ACTIVITIES
👋 We’ll start the morning with a short group hike at 9:00 AM. We'll group up to share the cost of optional activities. Reserve early—they will fill up!
