What we’re about
This group is open to anyone who has an interest in Big Data and Machine Learning. Whether that be as a student, academic, researcher, advocate, employee or employer working in Big Data and Machine Learning – or even have just an inquisitive mind, you are all encouraged to join this group and will be welcomed to our Meetups.
We will discuss, and have presentations, demonstrations and maybe the occasional hackathon, that will cover a wide, varying and hopefully interesting range of topics. These will include (but not necessarily limited to); big data, machine learning, real-time analytics, massively parallel processing, columnar databases, hadoop, data mining, data visualization, predictive analytics, streaming data loading, IoT, business intelligence…
