We'll be celebrating the 12th anniversary of Birmingham Vegans, which Greg Fuller started back in the summer of 2013. Hundreds of meetups, several festivals, and lots of new friends later, the group continues to go strong.
Mellow Mushroom is an iconic pizza chain that has catered to vegans for many years. You can check out their vegan menu at mellowmushroom.com/menu/#vegan
Their Vegan Veg Out Pizza is now made with Follow Your Heart vegan cheese, which you can also get on the Vegan Tempeh Hoagie. Other good options include the Vegan Avocado Hoagie, Vegan Pretzels, Vegan Enlightened Spinach Salad, and Vegan Greek Salad. You can build your own pizza or calzone. Just request the vegan crust and ask them not to add butter or Parmesan.
