A tenement on the edge of a seething city. Inside these oppressive walls, fear divides. Prejudice festers. The people here live side by side, yet worlds apart. Here, in the shadows of progress, a colony fights not just for survival – but for dignity, identity, and the right to belong.
Until a stranger arrives to unravel the tensions and challenge the very ideas of perfection, normalcy and worth.
In a raw, breathtaking collision of dance, music, film and story, COLONY – A True Colors Project showcases dancers with diverse abilities who ignite the stage with a tale of pain, resistance, transformation, and radical connection; their bodies intertwined organically as they negotiate and push past the limitations of mind and body.
Come witness a world on the brink. And the dance that dares to save it.
