This backpacking course is intended for BIPOC middle schoolers looking for a safe space and accessibility to the backcountry. This course is key for participants who want to build foundational backpacking skills, build community, experience inclusion where they might not have before, have fun, and reconnect with themselves and nature. Join us for 5 days of front country backpacking and camping led by experienced BIPOC female instructors. This journey is for all skill levels.

This week-long event is designed to help teens get away from technology, clear their head, and learn what it means to really be themselves in the beautiful skin they're in. The course features a balance of group physical movement and independent contemplative time. During their time together, they'll will see spectacular mountains, learn backpacking skills, and build meaningful connections with each other. Instructors will lead reflections and practices to support them in tapping into the authentic self—body, mind and spirit.

This is a BIPOC only event.
