This incredible evening of powerful short films and real-talk will feature storytelling from women who turned obstacles into opportunity and claimed a place for themselves–and the rest of us!–in the outdoors.
The night begins with a film screening and will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Women’s Wilderness Executive Director, Kriste Peoples.
Panelists include two of the featured women in these films: former Trailblazers instructor, Cheyenne Smith and Brooke Goudy!

## Featured Films:
Shifting Lines is a short, grassroots documentary about the power of pursuing what you’re passionate about and learning to move through fear along the way. Set atop Vail Pass in Colorado’s backcountry, the film follows four athletes as they blend skiing and highlining into a bold, creative adventure. Built from the ground up by a tight-knit team of athletes and filmmakers, the project captures not adrenaline, but meaning, connection, and the elusive feeling of flow. At its core, Shifting Lines is about trusting your team, embracing discomfort, and following the pursuits that make you feel most alive.
Wasifa National Geographic Emerging Explorer and Adventurer of the Year, Wasfia Nazreen doesn’t just climb for the thrill; she climbs for a cause. The first Bangladeshi to scale the Seven Summits, Wasfia has made it her purpose to brave these climbs for the sake of something larger – for the women of Bangladesh. Lyrical and poetic, this short documentary, shot entirely on an iPhone 6S, is a reflective character portrait that takes us from the depths of Wasfia’s struggles to the highest peaks on the planet, as we explore what it means to pursue the unknown.
Pedaling for Purpose Follow mountain biker and local legend Brooke Goudy on her journey to become a prominent biking leader in the outdoors. She reminds us not only why representation matters and what it means to pass her wisdom on to other women of color who want to take to the biking trails. Her journey has been a long-time investment in herself and in everyone who has the privilege of riding alongside her.
