- “Getting the Meetup brand out there” Can you talk about efforts in Canada and Internationally?
- There are a number of different challenges to expand on it. Number one is social media- TikTok is extremely important but also a Facebook and Twitter presence. We need to go where the people are, fortunately, all those platforms are highly global. So we are building the work we do by building a presence on all those platforms. Many people don’t necessarily know this, but over 42% of Meetup RSVPs are outside of the United States.
- Are there any conferences worldwide for organizers to meet in person with the staff of Meetup to learn about new products and share ideas?
- My request is if there is a big conference wherever you may live, on any topics Meetup could relate to, please reach out. We are always open to the opportunity for someone on the Meetup team to represent us at a conference. We also do try to host Meetup events for organizers to get together and meet each other. We’ve done events in Barcelona, Dublin, California, and more locations. We want to do more so please share more information if there are large upcoming conferences in your area.
