  • If I am an organizer of a meetup group and a member of other meetup groups – will I need to download both apps?
    • You don’t need to download both apps right now, but having both apps will make the organizer tasks easier. Also, we only plan to fix or add new organizer tools to the Meetup for Organizers app, so to stay updated it is recommended to have both apps.
  • I do not see the option to repeat an event in my app. How do I find this option?
    • The “Repeat event” feature is located under “Optional Settings” which will only appear after you’ve entered a date and time of the 1st event.
  • Will the check-in feature be available on the web if we don’t use phones for events?
    • Yes, you can check folks in 1 hour before the event, during the event, and 24 hours after the event has passed. After 24 hours, you can still go back to the event attendee list to mark/edit “went” or “didn’t go” status.
