Saturday Meditation 10:30AM- 11:45AM
Guided loving-kindness (metta) and Mindfulness meditation followed by a short discussion is being held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Venice, 1971 Pinebrook Rd., Venice, FL. We are very grateful for the generosity of the Unitarian Church for providing us with a wonderful space for this program! We continue to offer online participation as well via Zoom.
A mindfulness meditation practice will be guided by one of the Blue Lotus monks, usually Monk San, sometimes by one of the other mindfulness teachers, Jillaurie or Jim. This typically includes guided meditation or silent meditation and time permitting, short walking meditation. Practice is followed by a discussion session to support understanding and growth in the practice of mindfulness. Those who are new to meditation are welcome as well as experienced mediators.
