Pokémon Ditto Draft at Geeks & Games

Join us for another Geeks and Games Ditto Draft! This is a fun take on a normal draft and will be a casual play event. Register for the event in store or over the phone (503-650-5008).

Draft Rules:
Players sit in a circle with 4 booster packs each. Everyone opens one pack, selects a single card, and passes the remaining cards to their left (or right). This continues until all cards are drafted. Repeat the process for all packs. After drafting, players will get time to build a 40-card deck to play a mini-tournament (Energy cards will be provided by Geeks & Games)

What's a Ditto Draft?
The Ditto Draft receives its name from a rule that allows players to place a Ditto marker on any Basic Pokémon card to evolve it into either a Stage 1 or Stage 2 Pokémon, regardless as to whether the evolved Pokémon belongs to the same line of the original. If the player uses a Ditto marker to evolve a Pokémon into a Stage 2 Pokémon, their turn ends, but otherwise play is the same as in a normal game.
