Learn something new in our Korean Wooden Pillow class with Yoga Stick, one of Body & Brain Wellness Foundation's signature classes. We'd love to meet you :- D
Every Wednesday morning we bring you community classes with tips & techniques for self-care from Korea to upgrade your wellness. We'll show you how to stretch, breathe and wake up your energy without risky inverted positions - you can easily adapt our classes to your current level. And once each month, you'll get additional circulation benefits from self-acupressure using a traditional "wooden pillow" - easy to learn!
Body & Brain meridian energy yoga is from Korean integrative healing traditions and is designed to improve nervous system and blood circulation, breathing, posture, flexibility and mindfulness. Add some exercises with a yoga stick, and you can learn how to activate, manage and brighten your energy, reconnect with your own body, appreciate it and give it healthier circulation.
Wear loose or stretchy clothing; yoga socks are good. If you happen to own a wooden pillow, please bring it; otherwise you can borrow one of ours.
Each class includes 15 minutes to check in & warm up, an hour to focus on your own self-care with our instructors, and a few minutes of sharing after class to connect with our community.
Our classes are taught by qualified volunteer instructors, as a community service. We greatly appreciate your $15 per class donation ~ we're saving up for our next lease! If you are a current member of Body & Brain, our classes are covered by your membership.
