kotatsu question

Hi everyone - I found a company here in the US that makes and sells kotatsu. (hooray!)
Since we have oil heat, we are trying to find a good way to reduce our heating costs and I really liked using these tables when I went to Japan last January (it was cold up near Sendai!).

Has anyone ever purchased anything from these folks?  They sent me a very prompt email when I asked if we could get the table stained in another color.  Apparently they can and it won't cost any extra.  The shipping is $48.  I figured that's not too bad when you're going to purchase a table that should last you for quite some time.

Thoughts? Ideas?  Suggestions?
