It's decided. Joe Biden has now ousted Donald J. Trump as the new President of the United States. It's a time of celebration. And now we must exert that energy towards pressuring Biden towards the left.
Throughout the course of his campaign, Joe Biden has said some rather controversial statements, including encouraging millennials not to vote for him, not seriously pushing for reforms that are essential during the COVID-19 pandemic, and that "nothing will fundamentally change" in his own words. This is where we need to prove him wrong. We did our part to vote him in office, now he needs to do his part. He needs to listen to the pleas of the American people.
We're an organization of conscious, awakened Coloradan leftists committed to fighting the system; by fighting for majoritarian demands like Medicare-for-All, Universal Basic Income, free public college, eliminating student debt, ending the wars, a Green New Deal and ecological justice, defunding the police and racial justice, a living wage, and getting money out of politics.
