What we’re about
If you don't believe in supernatural entities or powers, if you are concerned about religious intolerance or religiously motivated violence, if you rely on human reasoning and science to guide your decisions and behavior, if you have a naturalistic view of the world, or you just don't believe in God or gods, you are not alone. The Boulder Atheists group provides presentations, meetings, and serves as a social community for atheists, agnostics, rationalists, secular humanists, Brights, and free thinkers in and around Boulder, Longmont, Lafayette, Broomfield, and surrounding communities in Northern Colorado.
Boulder Atheists wish to promote the understanding and acceptance of atheism with public education, good deeds, public activities and affiliations with other local and national secular groups. We strive to be inclusive to ALL and promote gender equality, LGBTQ equality and racial justice.
BA is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) Nonprofit Corporation and relies on membership dues to support the infrastructure required for these events. Please consider becoming a paid member to BA after attending 3 events. Paid annual membership starts at only $35. You can join at boulderatheists.org.
We are dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, welcoming, and harassment-free space and experience for all community participants. Comments on the Meetup events should be constrained to the event logistics, ride sharing, etc. Comments and behavior at events should be kind and considerate towards event hosts, attendees, and the Boulder Atheists board members. Come and join us for great conversation at the combination restaurant of The You and Mee Noodle House and Tra Ling's Oriental Cafe. They are sharing space at The Diagonal Shopping center, at the S.E. corner of 28st and Diagonal Highway (in the building where the Boulder County DMV is located).

The annual Boulder Creek Festival will be held over Memorial Day weekend, May 24 - 26. Stop by to visit, or volunteer at our booth.

This event is a lot of fun, and is our biggest social event of the year!
Volunteers Needed:
Volunteers engage with passersby to talk about atheism and the Boulder Atheists. Most people who stop by are friendly and curious about what we do. We want at least two people in the booth at all times, but the more the merrier!How To Volunteer:
- RSVP to this Event.
- Signup for Shifts.
- Volunteer shifts are two hours each and you can sign up for multiple shifts, and shifts on more than one day.
- Hours - Sat & Sun: 10 am to 7 pm | Mon: 10 am to 5 pm
- Prior to the event host guides and talking points will be sent out to all who sign up.

Are you concerned about religion creeping farther into politics? Do you want to help make sure that Colorado does not pass some of the religiously motivated legislation that other states have passed such as laws curtailing reproductive freedom, anti LGBTQ laws, and giving religious groups more special privileges and exemptions? If so, come and join us.
We have joined with the American Atheist organization to form the Colorado Secular Advocacy Team. The team is now open to adding new members. Come and see what we are about!

- Longmont Pride Festival BoothRoosevelt Park Pavillion, Longmont, CO
Put on your rainbow atheist attire and join us for this fun one-day event held in Longmont's Roosevelt Park! We're looking forward to Longmont Pride Festival again, we had a blast last year. Stop by to say hello or volunteer to staff our booth. Look for us in the park (the festival does not assign booth numbers).
