Monthly Presentation: Nanjing Massacre of 1937

Member, Rick Magee, will relate the little-known story of the Japanese invasion in Nanjing, which resulted in the genocide of 300,000 people. Many Westerners in Nanjing stayed behind to help protect the people, including Rick's grandfather, John Magee.

Rick, will share his grandfather's heroic efforts to film and document the Nanjing Massacre of 1937. This film footage was later used as evidence at the Tokyo War Crimes Tribunal.

This is a heartbreaking story that still resonates today.
