Make New Friends Meetup Group

Join us anytime from 9am-2pm for a change of (s)pace, some real human interaction and/or to feel more accountable and productive.

We'll be at a long table inside...look for the colorful round graphic. Please introduce yourself to everyone, and feel free to sit anywhere you like.

• Parking: Plenty of space in the lot during the day.
• Noise: Quiet during the daytime but there is ambient noise and occasionally background music. Bring headphones if you like.
• Socializing: Most people are open to water-cooler conversation but please keep in mind that we're there to work.
• Power outlets: Mostly inside, a few in the tent.
• Food/drink: Rayback has coffee, tea, water, adult and NA beverages, and food trucks starting at noon. You can also BYO.

Please note that this event is for people in their 20s and 30s.

Whether you're new to the area, a longtime resident, or just visiting, join us 👋 to make new friends!

There's no agenda... just people looking to meet one another and have a chat, a drink (plenty of n/a options), and a 😊 good time.

Look for people with name tags. We’ll be outside if the weather is pleasant, either under the tent or near the front door. Otherwise, we'll be inside.

We know some folks may feel anxious about meeting new people, going to an event alone, or being at a bar. If that describes you, please introduce yourself so we can extend a warm welcome and connect you 🤗 with others. We'll do our best to make you feel comfortable. And there's no pressure at all to drink.

Making friends as an adult can be hard, especially if you’re new in town, going through a life transition, or just trying to reboot your social life.

Many of us haven’t returned to the habits we once had for meeting people and building/maintaining friendships. And the data supports it:

In fact, at virtually all of our "Make New Friends" events, we hear personal stories that align with these findings.

• have an opportunity to share your challenges, questions, and hopes with others in a safe space
• learn practical language, behaviors, and action steps to build and deepen connections
• discover places and strategies to meet people in the real world rather than online
• hear my lived experiences of making friends after getting divorced and moving to Colorado, as well as hosting dozens of "Make New Friends" events

You’ll leave with concrete ideas, practices, and confidence to grow genuine friendships - whether for coffee, adventure, hanging out, or meaningful conversation.
