About us
Looking to make new friends? Yeah, us too! It's tricky to meet new friends in a new town, or when life changes. We’ve done meetups and generally like them, but when they're focused on a topic or activity, we find we don't make enduring relationships there. So that's the purpose of this one. No topics, or agendas, just meeting and enjoying each other's company.
We'll meet at a happy hour, do co-working sessions, or just get Saturday morning coffee. We've also done small side excursions for cross-country skiing and ice skating, whatever people want to do!
Since the goal is friendship, you don't need to worry about showing up alone and not having anyone to talk to. We’ll welcome you in and make sure you're a part of the conversation. But you'll probably find a friendly face before you even get to us. :)
You’ll also notice a donation option at the bottom. We recently added that to help cover the fees we pay. Anything left over will be distributed to hosts to pay for their time in setting things up. If you get something out of these events, please consider it, but this is 100% optional!

Every Wednesday in August at Bierstadt Lagerhaus, we'll have a fresh spin on The Great Gauntlet ready for you, with new games, new teams, and new prizes.
Show up solo or bring a crew - either way you'll have to work with strangers if you want a chance to climb the leaderboard and claim the title of champion.
Every mini-game comes with a chance to earn points that can be redeemed for free drinks and prizes. The goal is to have fun while working together to solve problems and rise above the pack. Think Squid Games but with handshakes and high fives instead of deadly eliminations.
I will be running the show as your event host, and I'll also have some support from other community organizers to ensure everyone gets connected into a group, meets new people, and has a great time.
This event is free to attend and play. Your RSVP is appreciated as a sign of interest in attending - no worries if your plans change closer to then.

About the Venue
Bierstadt Lagerhaus is a German-inspired brewpub in Denver's RiNo neighborhood that's been named "Best Colorado Brewery" and "Best Lager Brewery In The Country," with a wide range of delicious draughts, Bavarian bites, and zero proof options to satisfy everyone's palate. | MenuFree parking is available in the brewery's lot and on the streets throughout the surrounding neighborhood.

Karaoke Bingo (free to sing & play!)
Rumours Karaoke Cafe, 450 E 17th ,, Denver, CO, USWhether you're a karaoke addict, an amateur shower singer, or prefer to stay out of the limelight, come out for a Karaoke Bingo experience that's fun for the loudest and quietest among us.
Grab a name tag to make new friends, and a bingo sheet to follow along with karaoke performances for a chance to spin the wheel and score free drinks and prizes. You'll mark off bingo squares based on the evening's performances - no singing required if that's not your thing.
Head down the long hallway to the back room from 6-7pm for a pre-karaoke social hour where you can grab a drink, some dinner, and mingle before the singing starts. Karaoke signups begin at 6:45 for a 7pm bingo start time.
This event at Rumours Karaoke Cafe is free to attend, free to sing, and free to play - so you can save your hard-earned cash for refreshing drinks and tasty food!
Show up solo or bring your whole crew - all the seating is communal (meetup-style) so we'll make sure you find somewhere to sit and people to enjoy the evening with. If you see an open seat, feel free to rotate to other tables throughout the event.
After Karaoke Bingo, everyone is welcome to keep hanging in the back room where regular karaoke will continue.
PARKING
Free parking is available in the gated lot next door. Just pull up to the entry gate and it will open without a code. Park anywhere in that lot. The gate will be open to let you leave after 8pm, or request the code from the bar to leave before then.FOOD AND DRINK
Rumours offers a full menu of food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from open to close. Well drinks and beers start around $6, with a chance to win free drinks from the prize wheel throughout the evening.CATALOG

- Do people really make friends? Yes! We have many stories of people hanging out, building friendships, meeting for coffee or drinks, and going adventuring.
- What is El Patio? A spacious popular indoor/ outdoor venue with food and drinks. At night it turns into a dance club on the rooftop patio.
- Where do I park? There is street or garage parking and usually you can find a spot within a block or two of the venue. We recommend taking public transportation or a rideshare if you can.
