Hi everyone. I’ve been missing sharing songs with other songwriters, so I decided to start this group.

What and where?
I’ll reserve a regular space for us at the North Boulder public library at 4500 13th St, Boulder, CO 80304 for two hours. It’s spacious and has got a beautiful mountain view (there is limited availability there, so I am looking into some other space options to host more regularly).

Bring your guitar, bring a new song you’re working on, bring an old one you feel like playing, play a meaningful cover, whatever you like. Be prepared to play 2-3 songs.
Much like in Nashville, but without the crowd, we’ll go around the circle playing songs. Not so much a jam as it is a place to listen and share. I’d like it to be a space where we can share a little bit about t he tune or ask for feedback etc. if we’d like.
I would like to come together as a group of about 5 max. Please be sure to cancel in advance if you sign up but are unable to make it.

A little about me:
My name is Eric. I’m 35 and have been writing and playing music since I was about 18, in undergrad, living in New York City. I moved to Nashville in my 20’s where I was fortunate to have had great musicians and songwriting mentors around to play with and learn from. I’m also a couples therapist- which was a path that always felt very similar to my impetus for playing music. I love to relate with others and connect on the experience of life and what it means to be human. From the abstract to the day to day, songwriting was always an outlet for me to explore, reflect on, and understand myself and the people around me.
