What we’re about
A group of trail runners that are as serious about their trail running as the breakfast that follows. We enjoy diversity in our trails, restaurants, and running cohorts. Many runs are in the Boulder area; however we also look to get into the high country as much as possible. Runs are typically on Saturday mornings. The duration varies from about 2 hour to 4+ depending on location, group fitness, schedules, etc. Terrain can range from easy flat to steep technical. Pace can vary widely however we never let anyone forget why they joined a group.

See all- Hall Ranch Run and Halloween Trail Work ExtravaganzaHall Ranch Open Space, Lyons, CO
On Saturday October 26th we will hold our second-annual run and Halloween trail work event at Hall Ranch with Boulder County Parks and Open Space! This event will have three parts:
- 8am - run about 10 miles
- 10:30am - breakfast at the trailhead
- 11:30am to 4pm - trail work in costume with Boulder County
Join for one, two, or all three parts!
Part 1: Run! We will carpool from North Foothills Trailhead at 7:30am. Otherwise, meet at the Hall Ranch main trailhead by 7:55am. Either way we'll start the run at 8am sharp. The loop is about 10 miles with 1600 feet vertical gain, and should take us about 2.5 hours. If you're joining later, feel free to organize carpools in the comments below.
Part 2: Breakfast! Around 10:30am we'll do trailhead breakfast - please let us know in the discussion what you plan to bring.
Part 3: Trail work! At 11:30am we will join Boulder County Open Space and County Parks for trail work on the Nelson Loop trail. We'll be working on trail drainages to divert water off the trail and mitigate erosion. See more details on the County's project page. Costumes are encouraged!
Here's the packing list for trail work:
- Water bottle and water
- Sturdy shoes/boots
- Backpack (for carrying clothes/water)
- Pants (recommended)
- Sunscreen
- Rain gear if necessary

There's a lot to keep track of, so here's your checklist:
- RSVP here on Meetup
- Add your meeting location and what you're bringing for breakfast to this sheet.
- Register for the event on the County project page (you have to create an account, but it's easy!)
- Get your costume ready, read the packing list, and come prepared to have fun!
