What we’re about
A group of trail runners that are as serious about their trail running as the breakfast that follows. We enjoy diversity in our trails, restaurants, and running cohorts. Many runs are in the Boulder area; however we also look to get into the high country as much as possible. Runs are typically on Saturday mornings. The duration varies from about 2 hour to 4+ depending on location, group fitness, schedules, etc. Terrain can range from easy flat to steep technical. Pace can vary widely however we never let anyone forget why they joined a group.

New Year's Day Mountain Onesie Run
Chautauqua, 900 Baseline Rd, Boulder, CO, USHappy New Year!!
We will once again be doing our legendary New Year’s Day ONESIE run up Green Mt. So, for those of you that are able to pull yourself out of bed early, it is a great way to kick off the new year (or to sober up).
We’ll start at the Chautauqua Ranger Station in Boulder at 8:30a and head up Amphitheater and Saddle Rock. We'll descend down Bear Canyon for a very nice loop with around 11 miles and 3k of elevation gain.
As this year comes to a close and we start new, I am once again feeling the Attitude of Gratitude at Altitude!! I am extremely honored to have shared the trails with you all this year, and I am looking forward to what next year will bring.
This new year's day we'll be expressing our attitude of gratitude by continuing our tradition of running this run wearing onesies! If you have one, wear it. If not, that's ok too. There's nothing better than seeing a herd of zoo animals and cartoon characters running up Green Mt!
Pro tip: The forecast is predicting a temperature in the 30-50's, so for those new to onesie running, they get quite warm. I'll definitely be wearing only shorts and a T-shirt under my onesie.
If anyone is not interested in the full loop, but would like to join us at the top of Green, I suggest driving up Flagstaff Rd. and parking at the start of the Green Mt. West Ridge trail and run / hike to Green. The elevation gain is minimal. To estimate your start time, we'll probably take about 1.5 hours to get to the top of Green from Chautauqua.
Alternately, please add a comment below to coordinate alternate routes, as needed.
...and to assure you that I'm not kidding about the onesies, check out the pics from last year.
Can't wait to see you all!!
