Mount Sanitas via Lion's Lair Spur Trail - 4.6 miles; 720 feet EG

Let's hike to the top of Mount Sanitas via Lion's Lair Spur Trail in Sunshine Canyon. This is a well-maintained trail through ponderosa forest with a steady slight incline and beautiful views at the top. There is a short rocky area right beneath the summit.

(Alltrails states 4.1 miles and 826 feet EG, but I always end up with 4.6 miles and about 720 feet EG on the Strava app).

Parking is limited along the road.

No dogs are allowed on the trail.
