Woods Quarry via Bluebell and Enchanted Mesa - 3.3 miles; 715 feet EG

NEW DATE AND TIME !!!

This is a short hike up to Woods Quarry, an abandoned quarry that provided sandstone for Boulder's buildings and sidewalks in the 1890s before it closed in the 1920s. Up there we will take a break and enjoy the sweeping views and sandstone chaise lounges and armchairs.

We will meet at the Chautauqua Trailhead right next to the Ranger Cottage. You can also park along Baseline Road in case the parking lots are full.

Please bring layers, sun protection, water and a snack.
