Anemone Loop trail - 4.5 miles and 980 ft EG

Weather permitting

Let's hike the Anemone Loop Trail starting at the Peoples' Crossing Trailhead for a total of 4.5 miles and about 980 feet elevation gain. The trail provides scenic views of the continental divide and plains. We will take a break at Anemone Point with panoramic views. The trail includes over 400 stone steps, so poles might be helpful.

We will not hike up the rocky spur trail but follow the longer Red Rocks Trail to the Anemone Loop Trail.

Please bring layers, traction devices, water and a snack.

We will meet at the Peoples' Crossing trailhead. There are no restrooms at the trailhead.
