Let's hike from the Fowler trailhead into Eldorado Canyon State Park and take the Rattlesnake Gulch trail up the mountain. We will pass the historic Crags Hotel ruins on our way to the Continental Divide overlook and continue up to the train tracks. We will take a number of short breaks to enjoy the beautiful scenery and watch the rock climbers as well as a longer break at the overlook.
Parking is along the road and limited, so we will carpool to the trailhead from the Eldorado Canyon/Marshall Mesa Park-n-Ride.
Please bring layers, traction devices, water, and a snack.
