NEW DATE!

Let's hike from the bottom of Flagstaff Road to the top of Flagstaff Mountain and to May's Point. This is a great workout with beautiful views of the Continental Divide, plains and interesting rock formations.

We will meet at the Gregory Canyon trailhead and hike to May's Point via the Flagstaff and Boy Scout trails. We will take a longer break at the viewpoint before heading back via Range View and Gregory Canyon trail.

We will hike at a pace of approximately 2 miles per hour. The Flagstaff trail climbs a steep, 2.1-mile path with switchbacks crossing Flagstaff Mountain Road multiple times along the way. Gregory Canyon trail (going downhill) is steep and rocky with great outcrops and views, so we will take our time.

Please bring layers, sturdy hiking shoes, poles (helpful with the large steps and going down Gregory Canyon), water and a snack.

By signing up for this hike you acknowledge that you participate at your own risk and are solely responsible for your safety.
