We will meet at 8am at the Fourmile Canyon Creek Trailhead at 420 Lee Hill Road in Boulder (https://bouldercolorado.gov/trailhead/four-mile-creek) and drive with 2 or 3 cars to Estes Park. We will also make a stop in Lyons for those of you who live north of Boulder :)

This is a peaceful out-and-back trail along Cow Creek that will bring us to the upper Bridal Veil Falls. Most of the trail is well maintained with a gentle incline except for a steep climb with some rock scrambling towards the end. You can find up-to-date info about the trail conditions on Alltrails
(https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/bridal-veil-falls-trail).

The Cow Creek trailhead is located at the former McGraw cattle ranch that is now owned by the National Park Services. There are only about 12 parking spaces along the road, so we will carpool from a convenient location in either North Boulder or Lyons. Please bring your America the Beautiful Pass if you have it. We will need one pass per car. I would like to be at the trailhead no later than 9:00 to make sure we find parking spots.

Please bring layers, sun protection (the trail is mostly exposed), water and a snack.
