Anyone is welcome to join this 8.6 mile, 2,818 feet elevation gain hike, rated as "Hard". There is a large, free parking lot at the trailhead (with a bathroom inside the NCAR building) - see link below. This hike is for those looking for a fun, social hike with a little challenge on pace and elevation gain.

We'll hike at a slightly quick-ish pace - approximately 2.5-3 miles per hour - slower on the way up with several short breaks as needed, a longer break at the summit, then a little quicker pace on the way down.

Plan to bring layers, water, and a snack. While we love our furry family, please no dogs on this hike.

Please note: This hike is a bit on the challenging side due to the elevation gain. It is a great 14er training hike!!
