Goshawk and Spring Brook Loop - 6.6 miles and 960 feet EG

Let's hike both the Goshawk and Spring Brook loop trail starting at the Fowler trailhead on CO Rd 67 off Eldorado Springs Drive. We will hike the Goshawk loop counterclockwise to the Spring Brook loop junction, add Spring Brook loop, and finish the Goshawk loop back to the Fowler trailhead for a total of 6.6 miles and 960 feet elevation gain.
We will see great rock formations, meadows with wildflowers, fossilized ripple marks in the sandstone and maybe some elk.

Parking is along the road and limited, so we will car pool from the Eldorado Canyon/Marshall Mesa Park-n-Ride. Please be there on time, so we can leave for the trailhead at 8:30.

Please bring layers, sun protection, water and a snack for a mid-hike break.
