Meetup Group promoting classes, events and meetings of the Boulder Art Association. Established in 1923, the Boulder Art Association is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization promoting visual art and creative community in Colorado's Front Range. We host art exhibitions, foster art education, facilitate collaboration among artists, and promote the value that art brings to individuals and society. - Introductions: 10-15 minutes,
- Work individually: approx. 1 hr & 30 minutes,
- Last 15 minutes: Sharing our art (optional) or continue working if you prefer.,
HOW THIS WORKS: Be prepared with supplies to work in whatever style and medium you choose. ABOUT ME: Rick Dallago is a painter, film producer, & arts educator based in Denver, CO. Originally from New York City, he spent over 30 years in Los Angeles working in film before relocating to Colorado in 2019. His satirical and often humorous oil pastel work has earned him the label of a “snarky Norman Rockwell.” As a producer, Rick’s films include Blue Crush, Crazy/Beautiful, Into the Blue, Cheaters, Turistas, and Things Behind the Sun—nominated for five Emmys and winner of both the Peabody and Edgar Allan Poe Awards. Earlier in his career, he worked in production on films such as Father of the Bride I & II, The Doors, City Slickers II, Baby Boom, The Pickup Artist, and Ishtar.Techniques to Learn in Acrylic Paint Art Lessons

What is an Artist Roundtable? It’s Show & Tell for artists. It’s ARTful conversation. It’s sharing & discussing art shared by those in attendance – medium, tools, style, inspiration. Bring art to share - or not. Sharing is not required – just come to be part of the conversation - learn, share & expand as an artist or lover of art!
