In this workshop, we’ll create collaged greeting cards using folded 4.25” × 5.5” ivory cardstock and matching envelopes, incorporating imagery from contemporary magazines alongside vintage and antique papers. All materials will be provided, and the emphasis will be on a playful, intuitive approach.

Artist Bio:
I’m a mixed media collage artist based in Northern Colorado, creating visual narratives rooted in memory and the surreal. Coming from a professional background in English literature and composition, I approach collage as a form of visual storytelling where I let images hint at the human experience.

My work combines paper collage elements with an array of mixed media and fabric. I draw from both contemporary publications and carefully sourced antique photographs and ephemera. Faces and figures often serve as entry points into these compositions, suggesting inner dialogues and hidden meanings.

My expressionist style embraces contradiction: humor and melancholy, chaos and control, nostalgia and irreverence. Through layered imagery and an intuitive process, I aim to create work that evokes unspoken feelings and long-forgotten memories lingering just beneath the surface.
