TYPE: Walk & Talk | PACE: Gentle/kid-friendly | TERRAIN: Sidewalks, alleyways | DISTANCE: Approx. 1 mile |

Walk Description: Bring your whole family out for a Friday evening stroll to meet new friends! Come discover the art, colors, textures, and hidden treasures in North Boulder alleyways as we move at a pace perfect for conversation and exploration. We'll play the Go Find It! Game (https://www.sensorytrust.org.uk/gofindit.html) and have fun! Children of all ages are welcome – feel free to bring bikes, scooters or strollers. We’ll gather by the picnic shelter at North Boulder Park at 4:00 pm. Pack a light picnic dinner for your family to enjoy after our short walk (weather permitting).

Trae a toda tu familia a caminar el viernes por la tarde para conocer a nuevos amigos! Ven a descubrir el arte, colores, texturas y tesoros escondidos en los callejones del norte de Boulder mientras nos movemos a un ritmo perfecto para platicar y explorar. ¡Jugaremos a Go Find It! ¡Juega y diviértete! Los niños de todas las edades son bienvenidos – pueden traer bicicletas, scooters, y carriolas. Nos reuniremos en el kiosco de picnic en North Boulder Park a las 4:00 pm. Trae un picnic para disfrutar con tu familia después de la caminata (el tiempo lo permite).

Walking Movement Leaders: Darcy Kitching and Angela Ortiz will lead this walk together.

Trip Notes:

~ Dogs are allowed. Only short, non-retractable leashes, please.
~ Dress comfortably for the weather, bring sun protection and water, and anything else you need to stay comfortable outside.
~ Bring a picnic dinner for your family.

Cancellation Policy: This event will take place rain or shine, within reason. Check Meetup or text the walk leader for the most up-to-date conditions.

Welcome Waivers: Please fill out the online “Welcome Waiver” (http://www.walk2connect.com/welcomewaiver/) or download, print, sign, and turn in a hard copy if this will be your first Walk2Connect walking experience this year.

About Boulder Ramblers:

The Colorado-based Walk2Connect Cooperative works with individuals and organizations to create innovative walking programs focused on connecting to others, to place and to self. Our Boulder community, Boulder Ramblers, offers a variety of local walks and hikes led by trained volunteer Walking Movement Leaders in Boulder, Longmont and Louisville. We also partner with GO Boulder to develop walking events that orient community members to the city's pedestrian facilities and invite feedback about them.
