New Year's Resolution Ramble: Teller Farm/White Rocks
Details
TYPE: Trail Hike | PACE: Fitness | TERRAIN: Dirt trails, mostly flat, with a little incline | DISTANCE: Approx. 10 miles out and back |
Walk Description: Get outdoors and walk into 2026 with purpose and gratitude! We'll share our intentions for the New Year as we take an energetic hike, enjoying gorgeous views along the Teller Farm and White Rocks trails for a total of about 5 miles each way. Feel free to join us for the first half or all of this lovely urban hike (~10 miles round-trip).
Schedule & Planning: We will meet at the South Teller Farm Trailhead, which is accessed via Arapahoe Road (see map in the photos for this event). The turnoff is about halfway between North 75th Street and North 95th Street. Look for the brown trailhead sign on the north side of Arapahoe. We will walk north to Valmont, where there is another parking area (Teller Farm North), and continue north on the White Rocks Trail to the end of the trail, where we'll turn around. Feel free to join us along the way, or to carpool with others and leave a car at the East Boulder Trail at White Rocks parking area off of 95th Street.
Walking Movement Leader: Darcy Kitching started volunteering with the Boulder Ramblers in 2015. She is the author of "The Best Urban Hikes: Boulder." You can reach Darcy at (720) 805-8293 or besturbanhikesboulder@gmail.com.
