TYPE: Urban Hike | PACE: Fitness/Conversational | TERRAIN: Sidewalks, dirt trails | DISTANCE: Approx. 12-14 miles |

Walk Description: Join Darcy and Jane for an UNMAPPED urban hike! We're going to set out on Saturday morning to explore half of the Walk 360 Slow Marathon route in a new way. We're deliberating whether to include the South Boulder Creek trails from CU South close to Marshall in the 26-mile Walk 360 route, and we want to get a sense of how that might work for the summer event. Come explore with us and share your ideas about how to switch up the Walk 360 this year! We'll do an out-and-back route, turning around after we've gone about 6.5-7 miles, and we can have lunch at Illegal Pete's together, if desired.

Walking Movement Leaders: Darcy started leading walks with the Boulder Ramblers in 2015. She created the Walk 360 in 2017 and has walked the 26-mile route dozens of times! Jane joined the Boulder Ramblers in 2021 and has since become a leader in our community, supporting Ramblers during the Walk 360 and beyond.

Schedule & Planning: We will meet outside the Neptune Mountaineering Cafe at 8:30 am. The cafe opens at 8 am, so arrive a little early to grab a morning beverage and use the restroom, if needed.

Trip Notes:
~ We will begin walking at 8:35 so please arrive on time.
~ Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, sun protection and wear appropriate gear/clothing for the season.
~ NO dogs on this one, please.
