Full Flower Moon Walk
Details
TYPE: Walk | PACE: Gentle/Conversational | TERRAIN: Dirt/Gravel Trails | DISTANCE: 3.3 miles |
Walk Description: The full "Flower" moon will be visible on Friday, May 1, at around 8:25 pm. Let's meet at sunset to hike the 3.3-mile loop around Davidson Mesa and watch for the full moon to emerge as the sun goes down. If the group wants to go farther, we'll add the loop around Harper Lake.
Schedule and Planning: We will meet at 8:00 pm in the parking lot at Davidson Mesa, on the west side of McCaslin Blvd. The hike will take about an hour, but we'll stop to take in the views along the way. Parking is also available in the Harper Lake lot on the east side of McCaslin Blvd. You can park there and walk through the underpass to our meeting place. There are restrooms on the Harper Lake side.
