SF *Brazilian* Portuguese Language and Dancing!

We're a group of people living in the Bay Area who are passionate about everything related to Brazilian culture. This group started in 2006, and we've grown to over 2900 members! Our group is quite diverse, and we have meetings in San Francisco, the East Bay, the South Bay and San Jose.

We welcome new members and are excited to meet new people, make new connections, sharing common interests, and building community. We're LGBTQIA friendly, and encourage all members to come as they are, always respecting each and every member of our community.

We meet periodically to speak and improve our Portuguese (or for our native Portuguese-speaking friends, to improve their English), to dance to Brazilian music like samba, MPB (Popular Brazilian Music), and forró, and to have a good time with good people. You don't need to speak Portuguese to be able to participate.
