What we’re about
Welcome to the Brave Women's Community Center Meetup Group!
Our Mission: The mission of The Brave Women's Community Center is to empower women and girls to overcome anxiety, depression, and societal pressures through a variety of healing and creative practices. We aim to build a supportive community where competition is replaced by collaboration, helping each individual to expand, explore, and discover their identities. This nurturing environment encourages women and girls to find their strength and bravery, and to put their own passions into practice in a welcoming and joyful setting.
Our Vision: At The Brave Women's Community Center, we envision a world where every woman and girl feels empowered to confront her challenges, embrace her unique identity, and unleash her creativity. We seek to create spaces filled with laughter, collaboration, and artistic expression, where women and girls from diverse backgrounds come together to explore theatre, dance, music, writing, and spirituality. As we continue to grow, our vision extends beyond Colorado, aiming to establish a network of centers where bravery, play, and mutual support are not just ideals but everyday realities. We envision a community center that is designed to be a joyful sanctuary, fostering personal growth and transformation through a rich tapestry of creative and healing practices.
What We Offer:
- Drama Therapy Sessions: Explore personal and community through storytelling in a therapeutic setting.
- Therapeutic Improv Workshops: Unlock spontaneity and joy, improve communication skills, and build confidence through improv exercises.
- Creative Arts Therapy: Engage in arts-based activities that promote emotional and psychological healing.
- Community Events and Collaborations: Join us for regular meetups, workshops, and collaborative projects with a focus on building a stronger, more supportive community.

#### Messy Joy Club! Mondays, Bi-weekly Begins September 8th!
A space to unleash your creativity in joyful community with other women who are in the process of unlearning the perfectionism that's been holding them back.
# Here, we:
🎨 Make art that’s imperfect, soulful, wildly original—or even just plain bad. Whether it’s painting, writing, dance, music, drama, or anything in between, all expressions are welcome.
😍 Inspire one another to fall in love with the act of creating, instead of judging the outcome.
👩🏾🤝👩🏼 Build deep, lasting connections that extend far beyond our bi-weekly gatherings.
😂 Laugh—a LOT— because joy is our compass, not perfection.
