[solstice walk + pot luck food] St John's Wort collection, fresh teas and snacks

Open to everyone, no matter your experience of foraging of wild food, let's meet in the evening and celebrate midsummer together.

We'll head around the fields and woodlands of Conham River Park for an hour or so to see the plants that are blooming and collect some St John's Wort together before stopping to share food in the sunshine. Any and all recipes are welcome.

What to bring:
- picnic blanket
- cutlery + plate + cup
- a tupperware of food to share

Comment below what you're making, dairy / gluten / meat free always very welcome. If you're unable to make it or contribute food, or don't have any cutlery / plates, ofc let me know, we can bring extra things, everyone is still very welcome to join!

Meeting point: Conham River Park car park, BS15 3AW, down at the bottom of the hill. Here is the google maps link.

Accessibility: we will be on paths with mostly even ground, the grass is quite flat so suitable for most wheelchairs. Please get in touch if you are unsure as there is some gravelly paths, we can adjust our route if need be no problem.

If you aren't able to cover the cost, let us know , we have bursary spaces available for you, no questions asked!

Please note: to keep everyone safe, please do not attend if you are actively infectious with a cold, cough or other illness. Bristol Foraging Group is a neurodivergent, trans-inclusive, LGBTQIA+ friendly space, all are welcome.

Travel: bus numbers 44 and 45 take you closeby, there is a 10-15min walk/ wheel to the car park, where we will meet. There is some parking in the small free car park and some racks to lock up bikes.

Refunds: ** Swaps preferred over refunds - as PayPal take fees, the full amount doesn't get refunded. If you can't make it on the day, you're welcome to exchange your space for any another date you can attend at any point in future, just get in touch to arrange.
