Post Thanksgiving Hike
SUNY Purchase College, 735 Anderson Hill Road, Purchase, NY, USJoin me for a gentle hike and forest bathing on the SUNY Purchase campus the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We'll explore some natural areas under ecological restoration including the Blind Brook Forest and ascend to a high point for an overview of the area.
We'll meet at the West Parking Lot (tons of free parking) and hike for approximately 30 minutes pausing for a 5 minute guided mediation followed by a 15-20 minute nature journaling session where we'll journal our impressions.
- Meet up: West Parking Lot at the SUNY Purchase Performing Arts Center
- Specifically: the triangular area with benches next to the PAC entrance
- I recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and warm layers
- Pencils & journals are provided (or feel free to bring your own)
