About us
If you read romance and erotica. If you live, work, or play in Park Slope. Then this is the book club for you! This is the sister to Manhattan's Smutty Book Club and International (aka Virtual) Smutty Book Club. We read, talk, laugh, eat and drink.
It has come to our attention that someone has been using the name of Smutty Book Club and its organizers to invite people to for-profit events. Smutty Book Club (SBC) & Brooklyn Smutty Book Club (BSBC) are strictly social clubs and do not profit off of events. No fees are collected to participate in SBC or BSBC. All official Club events will always be listed on the Meetup.com website. All Club communication will come through the Meetup.com website. If you receive any solicitation for an event or receive communication outside of Meetup, asking for a fee - it is a SCAM. Please let us know if you have any concerns. Thank you
Brooklyn Smutty Book Club is in-person. We meet at Paddy's of Park Slope.
Paddy's makes great drinks, but they don't serve food. Feel free to bring your dinner or order in!

Quick housekeeping note: Someone has been using the name of Smutty Book Club and its organizers to invite people to for-profit events. Back to The Never King, here's what the publisher says:
. The stories were all wrong — Hook was never the villain.
. For two centuries, all of the Darling women have disappeared on their 18th birthday. Sometimes they’re gone for only a day, some a week or a month. But they always return broken.
. Now, on the afternoon of my 18th birthday, my mother is running around the house making sure all the windows are barred and the doors locked. But it’s pointless. Because when night falls, he comes for me. And this time, the Never King and the Lost Boys aren’t willing to let me go.
. The Never King is a dark retelling of Peter and Wendy. If you like your enemies to lovers romance with hot, ruthless, morally gray love interests, you’ll enjoy The Never King and the Lost Boys. You can expect hate kissing, fighting, bickering, and ‘touch her and I’ll unalive you’ vibes. The book for each month is chosen at the previous book club. So please come with your suggestions.
Please note: Paddy's of Park Slope serves plenty of drinks, but does not serve food. They welcome people to bring in food, or order in.
Happy Reading. See in you March at Brooklyn Smutty Book Club.
