This is an event from my Just Us Girls Meetup, so it is for women only.
I get four Broadway Series season ticket packages every year to the Peace Center, seated in orchestra row C, for the Saturday matinee 2:00 time slot. This includes nine plays, and a Peacekeeper level that allows me to get tickets the first day of presale for all other performances at the Peace Center (if you are a Broadway Series season subscriber with me, you can let me know in advance if you want tickets to a concert or other event). I am posting the 2026-2027 season here, so those who are interested can sign up. Your spot is confirmed when you give me a check or cash in person (service charges are too high to pay for this on Meetup). Here is the list of plays, with the day assigned to us:

I recently purchased a Groupon to try Gauchinho. It was beyond my expectations for food quality and service! You don't have to buy the full all you can eat Groupon for 2 (or 4), that includes a bottle of wine, but here is the link, if you are interested (use code LABORDAY for best price): Groupon

Guests who aren't interested in the tastings will still be able to enter the event, enjoy live music, food vendors and restaurants, retail vendors, and more.

As the "Speaker Seeker" for Piedmont Area Mensa, I am hosting a monthly speaker luncheon at the City Club, where you can order lunch and enjoy interesting topics! This is a private event not listed on the City Club calendar, but it is on the Piedmont Area Mensa calendar. There is a business casual dress code (no athletic wear, jeans, t-shirts, caps, shorts, sweats, sneakers or flip-flops). I am open to suggestions of speakers you know, who may want to participate.

Lunch is available to order from the City Club menu at 12:00 (credit or debit card only - this is a cashless club. 20% gratuity will automatically be added). The speaker will begin once the orders are taken. We will try to wrap up before 2:00, so parking will be free!
Park in the Liberty Square garage.
The first two hours are free (next hour is $6).
When entering the One Liberty Square building, go straight ahead to the elevators, and press 17 on the panel on the wall outside of the elevators (it will indicate which elevator to enter). Once at the City Club (the entire 17th floor), go to the receptionist stand and say you are a guest of Cindy Cohn for the Speaker Meeting.
