The Poe Mill Music Medicine Show is on Wednesday nights at Poe Mill Music. This new venue has an intimate listening room for regional singers and songwriters to share their art. Music is medicine for the soul.
Marvin King, Jef Chandler, and Mike Bagwell bring together three veteran voices of the Southern music scene, each with a deep musical history and a style all their own. King’s fiery guitar work and soulful vocals anchor the trio with the unmistakable edge of a lifelong bluesman. Chandler adds a songwriter’s heart - warm, sharp-edged, and melodic - delivering stories that cut straight to the bone. Bagwell completes the sound with his seasoned presence on pedal steel and multi-instrumental textures, weaving atmosphere, grit, and emotion through every song.
Doors open at 6:00 for the 7:00 performance. Arrive early to get good seats! Beverages are available inside the venue. I hope to see you there!
