Welcome to our Meetup group dedicated to exploring Wallonie Picarde and beyond! Whether you're an expatriate from Brussels, a passing tourist, or simply curious to discover this beautiful region, our group is the perfect place to immerse yourself in its authentic charm.
We've tailored our activities specifically for those unfamiliar with Wallonie Picarde. On our agenda, you'll find guided walks through picturesque landscapes, brewery and bar visits to introduce you to our delicious local beers, and lively discussions in renowned places around the region.
While English will be our primary language of communication, we encourage everyone to speak in the language they feel most comfortable with. It's a great opportunity to practice different languages and discover new cultures in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Our gatherings primarily take place on weekend afternoons, allowing you to join in our activities while still enjoying your weekend to the fullest.

Hello everyone,
BDW invites you to a walk in the woods of La Houppe (Flobecq), followed by a moment of sharing and exchange in a nearby bar. The duration of the walk is estimated to be about 2 hours (max 3 hours) . The difficulty level is low to medium, and the walking pace will be relatively slow to allow for conversation during the hike. It is recommended to carry at least one bottle of water (1L) and a sweet snack in your bag. The bar offers special local beers as well as a selection of light snacks such as pizzas and croque-monsieur.

Rules:
By participating in this event, you release the organizers (volunteers) from any responsibility in case of problems. It is imperative that you assess your physical abilities and fitness level before participating. Additionally, each participant is responsible for settling their own purchases.
Dogs are not allowed for this walk.
In case of bad weather (wind/storm/rain/cold temperature), the administrators reserve the right to cancel the event.
