Phil in the Park

The Calgary Philharmonic performs a free concert at Prince's Island Park. (Coordinator has reserved 10 tickets for this event. If additional people want to attend, you are welcome to join us, but must secure your own ticket ahead of time.)

Grab your blankets and picnic baskets as we once again welcome all of Calgary to join us at Prince's Island Park for a free community concert! Performing an eclectic mix of classical favourites, show tunes, and pops, the Orchestra and Resident Conductor Juliane Gallant provide the perfect soundtrack to a fun-filled afternoon in the beautiful heart of the city.

WHERE:
Prince's Island Park
We will meet on the Eau Claire side of the river. Exact details of meeting spot to be shared closer to the event date.

WHEN:
Sunday, September 7
Meet at 1:30 PM to find a place to sit
Concert begins at 2:00.

Other considerations:
- As the event date approaches and you find out later you can no longer attend, if you are either on the Attending List or the Wait List, please revisit this Meetup page and change your RSVP to Not Attending.
- "No Shows" (those that sign up but then don't show up) will be noted. Please respect other members who are on the Wait List that want to attend.
- If you are running late or otherwise need to contact the event organizer, please post a message in the Comments below.
- If you are feeling ill, please do not attempt to participate. Stay home and get better.
- Be respectful to others and observe personal boundaries. This includes the venue staff.
- If there are any concerns with another member's behaviour, let the event organizer know so this can be dealt with immediately.
