LET'S GET OUR CLASSY ON and indulge in a Gourmet Cheese & Wine Pairing Event experience!
The Vin Room's Sommelier and the owner of Peasant Cheese Shop will co-host this event where they'll walk us through our journey of delicious wine and cheese pairings. Enjoy six types of feature cheeses and six one-ounce wine pairings, along with house-made sourdough bread, focaccia, duo of pickles, and delicious compotes. If you like what you taste, we'll also have the opportunity to purchase bottles of wine and cheese to enjoy at home.

TICKETS / BILLING:
- Tickets are $25 and will be PRE-PURCHASED for our group.
** Once you RSVP, please immediately INTERAC $25 to leanne@mackenziecreativeservices.com, then notify me via private message that you've paid.
- I will close the RSVP time to this Monday evening. Once I have the confirmed number of attendees and their payment, I will then purchase our table of tickets. (I've confirmed with Vin Room there's still plenty of space at this time.)
- Due to the popularity of this event, tickets are non refundable per Vin Room's policy.
- If there's a lot of interest in this event (another 10 on the waitlist), then I'll open the maximum number of attendees to 20 and will purchase a second table for 10 after I've received those folk's payments.
- Should this event be cancelled by either Vin Room or the Meetup host, your money will be 100% refunded.
- If you need to cancel your attendance, the onus is on you to contact the next person on the (potential) waitlist to sell your ticket to them directly, if they're still willing and able by that point. Otherwise, you'll be S.O.L. :-)
HEADS UP:
Vin Room has a daily Happy Hour menu from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in case you'd care to grab a bite to eat before our event begins at 6:00 p.m.
PARKING:
Street Parking Only (FREE after 6:00 p.m.)
(Be mindful of residential parking permit-only zones)
SOME CONSIDERATIONS:
- As the event date approaches and you find out later you can no longer attend, if you are either on the Attending List or the Wait List, please revisit this Meetup page and change your RSVP to Not Attending.
- "No Shows" (those that sign up but then don't show up) will be noted. Please respect other members who are on the Wait List that want to attend.
- If you are running late or otherwise need to contact the event organizer, please post a message in the Comments below.
- If you are feeling ill, please do not attempt to participate. Stay home and get better.
- Be respectful to others and observe personal boundaries. This includes the venue staff.
- If there are any concerns with another member's behaviour, let the event organizer know so this can be dealt with immediately.
