Welcome to Calgary Nature and Social Adventures!

We are so excited to have you join our community of explorers and outdoor enthusiasts. Whether you’re a long-time local or brand new to the city, this is a warm, welcoming space to make lasting friendships while exploring the beauty of Calgary and the Rockies.

✨ Setting Up Your Profile
We love being able to put a face to a name! To stay active in the group, please:
Use your real name: Ensure your profile shows your first name and at least the initial of your surname.
Smile for the camera: Please post a clear, recognizable photo of just yourself. It helps our organizers and members find you at busy trailheads or city parks!

🏔️ What’s on the Calendar?
There is truly something for everyone! You can look forward to:
Water & Land: Rafting, kayaking, and cycling.
Seasonal Fun: Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in the winter; hiking and camping in the summer.
Social Connection: Photography walks, potlucks, and cozy restaurant meetups.
Learning: Online webinars and personal growth sessions.

💳 Membership Details
Come try us out! You’ll enjoy a 14-day trial period to see if the group is a good fit. To help us cover our Meetup website fees, we ask for a small annual contribution of $12.00 (that’s just $1 a month!).
Pro-tip: Paying via e-transfer to dawnerath@gmail.com or in person with cash is the best way to avoid extra credit card fees.

👋 A Quick Note on Etiquette
We’re all about genuine, face-to-face connections! While this isn't a dating group, it is a fantastic place for singles and couples alike to find community. We just ask that you refrain from private messaging members until you've had the chance to meet them in person.
We can’t wait to meet you at our next event! Whether we’re hitting the trails or sharing a meal, you’re going to have a blast.

Best Regards,
