On Saturday, May 4 at 1 pm, join us for a walk on both city pathways and wooded trails in Griffith Woods Park, a forest in the Discovery Ridge community on the southwest side of Calgary.
And maybe Earls after for Happy Hour at Westhills. Click here for food prices and menu or tea/coffee/donut at Wonder Donuts in Discovery Ridge.
Pathway may be slippery. Ski poles and microspikes/cleats/icers recommended.

Directions
Head west on Glenmore Trail/Stoney Trail in the southwest, staying in the left lane to avoid taking Stoney Trail south. Later, on the right side of Glenmore Trail/Stoney Trail heading west, watch for the sign: "Exit toward 69 Street SW/Discovery Ridge Blvd SW." This takes you to Discovery Ridge Blvd. On the Blvd, approach the 'big rock' with the traffic circle. Go straight through the traffic circle (don't turn). Later, turn left onto Discovery Ridge Link and go straight. The parking lot for Griffith Woods is tucked behind homes.Questions? Contact Trudy by leaving a message in the Chat Box.

On Sunday, May 5, grab your yoga mat and join us for a 1.5-hour class of yoga. I am changing the name of the class to Beautiful Backs: Alignment for the Body and Soul. It is Critical Alignment Therapy Yoga with Yoga Nidra ... at the Yoga Sarana studio.

Please sign into MindBody using the link above and then register for the class you are wanting to attend.Note that the first class is free if you have not attended a class at Yoga Sarana in the past. (Important clarification: if you have attended my workshop classes previously, those offerings have been deemed workshop classes not directly offered by Yoga Sarana, so now that this Sunday class is a direct offering from Yoga Sarana, your first class will be free also.)
After your first class, there is a $45 4-week unlimited pass for new students only. If you attend the above class each Sunday for four weeks, in the end, the class will cost you $12.50 per class (and you can try out any of the other classes at Yoga Sarana during that four weeks.
CAT Yoga is a subtle but powerful form of yoga that focuses on the mobility and stability of the spine using a CAT strap (Critical Alignment Therapy strap). Most classes are done laying on the back on props with eyes closed. The goal of Yoga Nidra is to promote a profound state of relaxation.
