Please join us Saturday, May 11, at 10 am to walk in Mallard Point. Walk 6.5 kms on mostly flat terrain for 2 hours. Check Environment Canada's forecast here.

- Directions: The City of Calgary's street address is simply "Canyon Meadows Drive SE" but the park is easily found on just east of the Canyon Meadows Drive/Deer Run Blvd SE intersection. Drive as far east as you can go on Canyon Meadows Drive until it narrows and ends just past residential area and the sign shown in the photo above.
What to bring
- Jacket with layers for a cooler evening
- Bottled water
- Walking shoes or hiking boots
- Ski poles for balance (optional)
- Bandaids or first-aid kit

A $7 fee for supplies is charged at this educational class at the ** Central Library, 2-05C Meeting Room on 12/May/2024 - from 12:30 PM to 02:00 PM ** Create decorative writing and art. Alina studied and worked in calligraphy and will teach the lettering and art styles to help you create one of the following in class: a restaurant menu, thank-you note, poster, sign, gift-card poem, invitation, place cards, envelopes, border designs, or art for framing.

Join us after work at 6:30 pm on Thursday, May 16, to explore paved and perhaps unpaved pathways in Votier's Flats, located at the southernmost end of Elbow Drive SW. Walk for 90-minutes. Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome.
At 6:30 pm meet by the public washrooms across from the parking lot
- Address: 13511 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary. Drive as far south as you can go on Elbow Drive until the road ends in the parking lot for Votier's Flats. On the way there, you will pass Candle Court SW and a gas station on Elbow Drive just before entering the park.
