About us
We’re a wonderful group of friendly bike lovers who can accommodate cyclists of all experience levels and happily adhere to a no-drop policy. You do not have to be registered for our Arthritis Foundation cycling events in order to participate in our training rides.
Join us for our wonderful weekly training rides (Jan - Sept), We focus on touring, social riding with a modest pace. Usually there are two groups, one riding at about 10 miles per hour and the other at about 20. Beginners welcome with many rides offering multiple routes for both beginners and experienced cyclists. Average ride is 40+ miles and 2,000+ feet of climbing. Rides are also posted each week on the meetup and the Cycling4Fun.com website which describes starting time, location, and routes. Cycling4Fun is the bay area training program for the Arthritis People's and Coast Classics which are usually scheduled in September. However, all riders are welcome to join our rides.
