About us

Looking to be active with other health-minded singles in their 50s and 60s? Me too! This is a group to be active together - greenways, outings, music venues, healthy/holistic workshops/talks/events. Would love to learn of more hiking spots, health-conscious restaurants, or organic coffee shops. Open to suggestions, so PM me!

**IMPORTANT - PHOTO ID - Please know we have a requirement to have a photo ID (picture of your FULL face) on your profile for safety reasons as recommended by Meetup organizers. NO masks, dark glasses, or face impingement of any kind - NO EXCEPTIONS - SAFETY OF THE GROUP TRUMPS ALL.

AGE/STATUS - Please honor the age limit and single status - NO EXCEPTIONS.

LOCAL ONLY - We do not have any virtual events, so this is for local community only. NO EXCEPTIONS.

NEGATIVITY - Negativity will not be tolerated - ZERO tolerance. Including, but not limited to, our speakers. Most (literally 99.9%) of our speakers donate their time and talent for free. If a speaker disappoints you, please refrain from negative comments or ratings as that will give speakers hesitation to join us in the future.

RSVP/NO SHOW - Some events (clearly marked) have limited capacity, and for those occasions we ask that you RSVP responsibly. If you miss two of these events without notice, your membership will be revoked. Our vendors reserve spots specifically for us, and honoring those commitments is essential to maintaining those relationships.

**PICTURE AUTHORIZATION - By approval of your requested membership, you’re also accepting to authorize pictures including you to be posted when you attend meets. If you do not want to be in a picture, simply choose to step out of photo.

Disclaimer:
By participating in any of our events, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Our walks are an intermediate-level. Members should be in reasonably good health and able to walk at a steady, moderate-to-brisk pace for the duration of each meetup. Please consult your physician before participating if you have any medical conditions, limitations, or concerns.
All activities are voluntary and you participate at your own risk. The group organizers, hosts, and members are not responsible for any injuries, health complications, or damages that may occur before, during, or after any walk or member activities.
By joining our events, you agree to take responsibility for your own safety, stay aware of your surroundings, use good judgment, and choose activities appropriate for your fitness level.

We’re here to promote health, connection, and fun — safely. If you’re unsure whether this group is the right fit, feel free to reach out. I'm happy to help guide you.

Simple Tools for a Quieter Mind

Waterbean Coffee, 333 Main St, Pineville, NC, US

## Join Me for a Soul‑Nourishing Morning at Waterbean Coffee! ☕✨

Come meet me at my favorite organic coffee shop, Waterbean Coffee in Pineville, where we’ll kick things off with your drink of choice and a little connection time. From there, we’ll take a quick 5‑minute ride to the beautiful Belle Johnson Community Park — a peaceful, tree‑lined spot on a lovely lake that sets the perfect tone for what’s ahead.

Once we settle in, I’ll have the joy of introducing you to Nicole Mitchell, a gifted guide who will lead us through an uplifting, eye‑opening session on why caring for your nervous system matters now more than ever. Nicole will share how the powerful link between your thoughts, your spirit, and your body can gently guide you back to clarity and calm — even in a world that rarely slows down.

You’ll walk away with simple, grounded practices you can start using the very same day, plus a deeper sense of what it truly feels like to be settled, centered, and at home within yourself.
Come sip, gather, breathe, and discover something new about you.

## About Nicole Mitchell

Nicole Mitchell is a Board‑Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Certified Life Coach, and intuitive guide who helps people move through anxiety, self‑doubt, and emotional overwhelm — and emerge more aligned, more grounded, and more themselves than ever.
Living with ADHD and identifying as a highly sensitive person, Nicole understands anxiety not just academically, but intimately. Her work blends evidence‑informed coaching, hypnotherapy, and deep intuition to help people quiet the internal noise, reconnect with their own wisdom, and finally feel at home in their own skin.
Whether you’re navigating chronic worry, emotional intensity, or that subtle but persistent sense that “something’s off,” Nicole meets you exactly where you are. She works with both men and women individually and is also the founder of Brave Becoming: The Circle, a small‑group program for women ready to stop living from fear and start living from courage.
